H. Jean "Jeannie" Leader

Jean “Jeannie” (Pyles) Leader, 72 of Aledo, died February 10, 2023, at Mercer Manor, Aledo. Private family services will be held in the spring when the family can celebrate Jeannie’s life outdoors.

Jeannie was born on May 4, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa to Francis & Dorothy (Eberhardt) Pyles.

Jeannie was a Moline native, graduating from Moline High School in 1968. She was an avid animal lover and friend to many. Jeannie worked for many years with her traveling petting zoo, her booth at the Rock Island County Fair, and with animals of all kinds. She loved the outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, and canoeing.

In death, Jeannie leaves daughter Tiffney (Brett) Hampton - Mueller; grandsons, Donny Wayne, Anthony and William; Granddaughter, Jessica; life-long best friend, Debbie Cabe; Granddaughter, Haley (Lucas) Matzen and children, Cora, Lucy, & Oliver; Granddaughter, Emily (Kyle) Turnbough; sons, Robert and Jason and significant other, Juan. Jeannie was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer.
