Ruth Ann Dutton

Ruth Ann Dutton, 85 of Aledo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Mercy One Genesis, Aledo. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 17th at 1:30 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Aledo, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Little York. Memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of arrangements.

Ruth Ann was born on September 1, 1939 to Lee R. & Frances (Anderson) Oliver. Ruth Ann attended Beauty School in Burlington, where a good friend set her up on a blind date, where she met Philip Eldon Dutton. They married on May 31, 1959, at the Norwood Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2006.

Ruth Ann and Phil raised their family on the farm where she enjoyed being a homemaker. She cherished the “LON”, love our neighbors, get together every month. She and Phil also enjoyed square dancing in their earlier years. They attended Sunbeam United Presbyterian Church, prior to becoming founding members of Trinity Presbyterian Church, of which she helped them celebrate their 30th Anniversary recently. Ruth Ann loved the Sunday nights with the Trinity Game Group and going to McDonalds for a daily drive. She loved watching the great grandchildren play and was looking forward to the fifth one being born in December.

Ruth Ann is survived by her children and spouses: Dennis & Betsy Dutton of Sterling, KS; Janice Daniels and Joyce & Wade Johnson, all of Aledo; grandchildren: Joseph Eldon Daniels & Natalie Paul; Julina & Anthony Villotti; Angela & Mario Pauley; Chelsea Johnson; Will & JoJo Dutton and Max Dutton; great-grandchildren: Harper, Linleigh & Kennedy Pauley; Davis Dutton and one lovingly expected in December. Also surviving are many cousins in the Anderson family.
