Robert L. Allen

Robert L. Allen, 41 of Aledo, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, to honor Robert’s memory, donations may be made to Mercer County Relay for Life. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family.

Robert was born on April 8, 1982, in Geneseo, Illinois to Richard & Stacey (Nuckles) Allen. He attended Alexis High School and was currently with Bellota Agrisolutions.  Robert had been with his soul mate, Leticia “Tish” Loveall since October 15, 2003.

Robert was a caring compassionate man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the family comedian, always keeping everyone laughing. Robert loved to play video games and go fishing. He was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer Fan.

Robert’s memory will be cherished by his soul mate, Tish Loveall; children: Crystal (Timothy) Griffin, Summer Loveall and Amber Lee Loveall; grandchildren: TJ and Avarie Griffin and Tatum, lovingly expected in July; step-grandchildren: Brady and Drew Griffin;  his father, Richard Allen; sister and brother-in-law: Jamie & George Umphryes; grandfather, Robert Allen and nieces, Alycia Hammitt and Maddison Klein. Also surviving are many special friends, including, Holly Holden. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Stacey; step-father, Andrew Davidson, and grandparents: Alice & Sam Patterson, Roger Nuckles, and Vicki Wyatt.
