Marvin D. Reddick, 87 of Aledo, died Monday, November 27,2023 at Mercer Manor, Aledo. Funeral services with Military Honors will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM prior to services. Burial will be in Hamlet Cemetery, Aledo. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Aledo.
Marvin was born on August 14, 1936, in Columbus Junction, Iowa to George C & Rebecca (Schaefer) Reddick. He served his country in the United States Army. Marvin married Florence Cooper Bewley on June 11, 1988. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2020.
Marvin worked for Case IH for over 27 years while also farming. Marvin and Florence enjoyed wintering in Southern Charms, Florida and spending time with their grandchildren in their retirement. He was a past member of the Community Bible Church and currently of the First Baptist Church.
Marvin is survived by his children: Melissa Espinoza, Manda Reddick, Bill & Jenny Reddick, and step-children: Jeff & Debbi Bewley and Jim Bewley; grandchildren: Anthony & Tiffany Gonzales, Cheyenne & Joe Hatch, Gaston Gonzalez, Diana Espinoza, Brandon Reddick and fiancé, Katie, Jon & Amanda Reddick, Logan & Onna Reddick, Cameron & Callie Reddick and Jennifer, Jessica & Jasmine Reddick; step-grandchildren: Jesse Bewley, Michael & Becca Bewley, Melissa Mitchell, Jake Bewley and Maggie Bewley and 15 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. . He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florence; son: Keith, granddaughter, Krysten and siblings: Marcela Reddick, Betsy Asher, and Rodney, Darryl, Hilton, Eldon, Clyle and Harlan Reddick.
