Logan H. Beattie

Service Update : A Celebration of Life for Logan will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2 to 6 PM at The Barn in New Boston, Illinois. 

Logan H. Beattie, 25 of New Boston, died January 11, 2024, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.  A celebration of life will be held later this year when the weather warms and it can be held outside, where Logan enjoyed spending most of his time. Memorials may be left to the Beattie family for his nephew, Brixton. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family.

Logan Hunter was born on November 28, 1998, in Peoria, Illinois to John & Jennifer (Bosold) Beattie. He attended Mercer County Schools and graduated from High Roads Advantage. In December of 2016.

Logan was a free spirit who lived every day to the extreme. He enjoyed going for rides on his motorcycle and four-wheelers, or anything to have fun. His constant canine companion was Limit. They were inseparable.  Logan loved the river and helped teach his younger cousins to fish or to just enjoy the river. He enjoyed helping people, and cooking for anyone, especially breakfast. Logan’s family was extremely important to him, and he loved celebrating the holidays with them.  Logan had a special place in his heart for his nephew, Brixton.

Those left to cherish Logan’s memory include his parents: John Beattie and Jennifer Beattie; Brother: Daniel (Zinnie Soseman) Beattie; grandparents: Mike & Cindy Bosold, Linda Pierson, and Daniel Beattie. Also surviving are his many friends, including, Cole Swearingen, his best friend. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Deb Beattie and brother, Roger Beattie.
