Jacklyn S. Ferguson, 54 of New Windsor, died Monday at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 to 7 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Private family graveside services will be held on Saturday at the New Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Jackie Ferguson Memorial fund. Jacklyn Sue was born on April 5, 1962 in Aledo, Illinois to Lewis H. & Wilma Marie (Whitt) Litwiler. She married Delbert Ferguson, Jr. on May 30, 1981 at the Viola United Methodist Church. They renewed their vows in Las Vegas on January 19, 2011. Jackie was currently employed with Hawkeye Paving, Bettendorf. She had previously worked for Maytag in Galesburg. Jackie was a devoted grandmother and loved her bulldogs. She also enjoyed gardening. Those left to cherish Jackie’s memory include her husband, Delbert “Poke” Ferguson; 2 children: Alicia Ferguson and Delbert “Bub” Ferguson, III; Grandchildren: Justice, Lexi & Zach Shields all of New Windsor; step-son, Jermie Hamilton and his sons, Blake & Keaton of New Windsor; Siblings: Priscilla “Pid”& Donnie Kenney of Lehigh, FL; Karen & Kenny King of Aledo; Joyce Hajostek of Aledo; John & Gilma Litwiler of Monmouth and sister-in-law, Jere Litwiler of New Windsor. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jessica Margaret; Siblings: Bob Litwiler, Roy “Butch” Litwiler, Gloria Ruggles and husband, Burris and brother-in-law, Jim Hajostek.
