Funeral Services for Michael McIntire, 46 of Aledo are Monday at 10:30 AM at College Avenue Presbyterian Church, Aledo. Burial will be in Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 6 PM at Speer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Michael’s Daughters. Michael died on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Michael was born on July 22, 1963 in Rock Island, Illinois to Wayne & Doris (Allen) McIntire. He was a graduate of Winola High School. He married Carrie Kistler on December 9, 1995 in Rapid City, Illinois. From this union three daughters were born. Michael was employed with Union Tank Car, Muscatine. He was a Nascar fan, specifically, Jeff Gordon. Michael’s four girls were his life. He was a devoted husband and father. Those left to cherish Michael’s memory include his wife, Carrie and daughters, Quinci, Averi and Marli; a sister, Wanda Barton of Mira Loma, CA; his in-laws: Dan Kistler of Aledo and Cindy & Mike Bosold of Milan; grandparents-in-law: Dave & Mary Kistler and Shirley Bivens, all of Aledo and many other family and friends. His parents preceded him in death.
