Join the family of John-Michael Perry, 20 of Viola, in honoring his life on Tuesday, August 9th at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, Aledo. Private family burial will be in Viola Cemetery after the services. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to John-Michael Perry Memorial Fund.
John-Michael died on August 3, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.
John-Michael Dean Perry was born on May 21, 1996 in Springfield, Illinois to John Perry & Gina (Sponsler) Perry. He was a 2014 graduate of Tri-City High School, Buffalo, Illinois, where he was a standout on the Basketball and Baseball teams. He had a tremendous pitching arm. He was currently employed with Lynco Products, Milan.
John-Michael loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. He was a devoted family member. He loved the time spent with family and friends and on the family farm.
John-Michael’s memory will be cherished by his family, including: his parents: Gina & Paul Young of Viola; John & Ellen Perry of Dawson, IL; Siblings: Mikayla Young, Robby Young, Cole Young, all of Viola; Sarah (Perry) & Bryan Hopkins of Shiloh, IL; and Jaqueline Morrow of Dawson, IL; Grandparents: J. Michael & Kathy Sponsler of Aledo; Karen & Gary Cloe of The Villages, FL; Donald & Betty Lou Young of Viola; Barb Perry of Springfield, IL; and Dean & Lindi Kernan of Alpha, IL; and many aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents and grandfather, John Perry, Sr.
