Judith Ann Loving, 72 of Aledo, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on January 9th at Oakview Country Club beginning at 5 PM. Please come and share your memories of her beautiful life. Private burial will be held at a later date in Peniel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorials be donated to the Mercer Carnegie Library.
Judith Ann was born on January 19, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa. She was adopted and raised by her aunt, Alice Parsons Moore. She was united in marriage to Scotty Loving on June 11, 1960 in Burlington, Iowa. From this union three children were born, Tanya, Penny & Brook.
Judy was a secretary for various offices at the Mercer County Courthouse, the Aledo School District, and lastly the First Baptist Church.
Judy had a huge heart. Her family always came first. She cherished the time spent with her children , grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy’s second love was dancing. She spend countless hours donating her time to teach at Myrna Rae’s Dance Studio. She also volunteered many hours in the community. She never met a stranger and was known to help any and everyone. Judy loved to decorate and was very crafty. Her home was filled with her love and showcased her talents.
Judy will be sadly missed and her memory will be cherished by her husband, Scotty; Children: Tanya & Charlie Creach of Edwards, MO; Penny & Mark Bieri of Aledo and Brook & Kim Loving of Rifle, CO; grandchildren: Josh Cook & fiancé, Bri; Jamie Mathis, Nikki & Michael Vipond, Blake & Chelsea Bieri, Zach Loving, Cheyanne Loving and Dillon Loving; Great-Grandchildren: Remington, William & Dakota Cook; Sydney Mathis, Jack and Elle Vipond and Gracelyn and Dane Bieri; a half sister, Diane Shoemaker of Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George “Kenny’ Shoemaker.
