Mary M Colbert

Mary M. Colbert, 66 of Aledo, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mississippi Valley Patriots. Mary Martha Quinn was born on September 8, 1949 to James & Ruth (Dillon) Quinn in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She married Robert Colbert on August 18, 1972 in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Prior to retirement, Mary was a Respiratory Therapist in Monmouth. She was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Mary and Bob enjoyed their time with the Patriot Guard Riders, the Mississippi Valley Patriots, camping, riding their motorcycle and spending time with their grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband Bob; 3 children & spouses: Samantha & Corey Smasal of Lacey WA; Kimberly Young of Colbert, WA and Ryan & Michelle Colbert of Moline; 7 grandchildren: Blaine & Codey Chapman; Oakley, Quincy & Sadie Marie Young; Cason Boden-Colbert and Lance Andrew Colbert; a sister-in-law, Carol Guthrie of Aledo.
