A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. “Patty” Fuller, 72 of Aledo will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Aledo. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, rural Aledo. Visitation is Friday from 3 to 7 PM at Speer Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 2:30 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Catherine’s Catholic Church; St. Jude’s or Special Olympics. Patty died Monday, November 24, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo. Patricia Ann was born on May 19, 1942 in Rock Island to Francis & Teresa (O’Connor) Boyles. She married Lavern Fuller on September 21, 1963 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Aledo. Patty was a dedicated nurse for over 43 years with the Mercer County Hospital. She cherished time spent with her family and church family. Patty enjoyed her fellowship time with her girlfriends. Those left to cherish Patty’s memory include her husband, Vern; Children and spouses: James; Lisa & Rodney Dixon; Daniel; Michael & Ashlie all of Aledo and Michelle of Champaign; 2 grandchildren: Christopher Dixon and Alex (Krissy Diehl) Dixon and one lovingly expected; 2 great-grandchildren: Kayden & Connor Dixon; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary & Augie Martel of Silvis and Frances & Daniel Curran of Bettendorf; and 2 sisters-in-law: Martha Fuller of Aledo and Linda (Bruce) Reynolds of Normal, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter and son-in-law: Patricia “Trish” & Del Michael Roseboom and a brother in infancy.
