Dwayne Brown

Dwayne Brown, 52, of Joy, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 at his home. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at McPherren Cemetery, Ohio Grove Township, rural Aledo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dwayne Brown Memorial Fund. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is in charge of arrangements. Dwayne was born on August 24, 1952 in Aledo to Richard & Alma (Johnson) Brown. He married Joyce Jordan on May 6, 1989 in Moline. Dwayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and flea markets. He was also raising coonhounds, labrador retrievers and minature pinschers. He loved working in the outdoors, especially on the farm and had received a certificate from the Black Angus Association. In younger years he was active in 4-H and FFA. Dwayne is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Tiffany Snider and her fiancé, Brian of Sioux City, IA; a granddaughter, Stormy Dawn Campbell; his parents, Richard & Alma Brown; 2 brothers, Willard and wife, Beth and Mark Brown all of Aledo and 2 aunts and several cousins.
